Richard Korczynski's creation of the "photo mats" has been very well received by the buying public. The use of just one photo with a coordinating inner mat creates an image of greater depth. Korczynski's understanding of the proper placement of his subject makes this one of his most attractive and popular items. For that reason not all of the Korczynski collection is available as "photo mats." Please note the * (asterisk) in the Korczynski's web catalogue when placing an order for "photo mats."
Customers wanting a favorite shot of their own done in this method can ship their negative to Korczynski's Photo Lab. The advantage of us doing your printing from your negative allows us to properly crop the photo for mounting and cutting the inner mat. We strive to create the most becoming "photo mat" from your negative.

As with the other photo lab work we do, we also accept credit card payment for this service as well. The smallest print we do for this procedure is an 8X10 and up to a 20X30 photograph. All work is done in-house. Price sheet for printing and shipping is available upon request.

Photo Lab

Korczynski's Photo Lab and Studio takes great pride in the processing and printing of customer film or enlargements.

The lab uses only the best archival paper and each negative is color balanced. Cropping will be done according to customer requirements, when possible.

Roll film is usually processed and printed the day received and will be mailed or shipped same day when possible. Enlargements from roll film or negatives are printed within two to three days and shipped immediately upon completion. Shipping cost varies depending on postal or UPS fees and will be added to final bill. All major credit cards are accepted.

Another feature of Korczynski's Photo Lab is the copying and reproduction of old photos. We also have touch-up capabilities on reproductions. Prices are determined by the time spent on each photo.
